We stand firmly behind the caliber of our work. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage and guarantees associated with the parts we install and the labor we provide.
1. WORKMANSHIP & LABOR WARRANTY
We take pride in our precision and attention to detail. Garage Doors By Robert LLC provides a 30-Day Limited Labor Warranty on all repair and installation services, effective from the date of completion.
- Coverage: If a defect in our workmanship or installation causes your garage door to operate improperly within the labor warranty period, we will dispatch a technician to correct the issue at no additional cost for the labor.
- Exclusions: This labor warranty strictly covers the specific service performed. It does not cover pre-existing conditions, unrelated mechanical failures, or adjustments required due to natural settling of the home.
2. PARTS & HARDWARE WARRANTY
We source and install only premier, high-quality components.
- Manufacturer’s Warranty: All parts—including but not limited to springs, rollers, hinges, tracks, weather-stripping, panels, and garage door openers—are covered exclusively by their respective manufacturer’s warranties.
- Duration: The duration of these warranties varies by part and manufacturer (e.g., specific springs may carry a 3-year, 5-year, or lifetime warranty).
- Execution: Should a part fail due to a manufacturing defect while under the manufacturer’s warranty, Garage Doors By Robert LLC will gladly facilitate the replacement of the defective part. Please note: While the part itself may be covered or discounted by the manufacturer, standard service call and labor fees will apply for our technicians to execute the replacement.
3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED (WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS)
To maintain the integrity of our elite installations and repairs, certain conditions will immediately void this warranty. This warranty does not cover:
- Unauthorized Tampering: Any repairs, adjustments, or modifications made by the homeowner or any third-party technician after our service is completed will immediately void all warranties. Garage doors operate under extreme tension; unauthorized tampering is highly dangerous and absolves us of all liability.
- Neglect & Lack of Maintenance: Failure to perform routine, preventative maintenance (such as proper lubrication and safety inspections). We highly recommend our annual preventative maintenance service to ensure your system operates flawlessly.
- External Factors & Force Majeure: Damage caused by extreme weather, acts of God, power surges, accidents, vehicular impact, or improper use of the garage door system.
- Cosmetic Wear: Natural wear and tear, fading, rusting, or minor cosmetic blemishes that occur over time and do not affect the mechanical operation of the door.
4. HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
If you experience a performance issue covered under this warranty, we are ready to assist you rapidly. To initiate a claim:

On-Site Diagnostics: We will schedule a service call to diagnose the problem. If the issue is covered under our Workmanship Warranty, the initial service fee will be waived. If the issue is determined to be unrelated, standard service call fees and labor rates will apply.
